Welcome to Perth Pickle — a business born from a simple idea: buying the right pickleball paddle should be easy, enjoyable, and hands-on.

Perth Pickle was founded in February 2026 by Ryan Jones and Robert Musgrove. Both Ryan and Robert come from a strong tennis background and discovered pickleball in 2025. It didn’t take long before they completely fell in love with the game — the competition, the community, and the addictive fun of being on the court.

Like many players new to the sport, they ran into the same frustrating problem: trying to buy paddles online without ever having played with them. After a poor experience purchasing paddles without being able to test them, it became clear there was a gap in the market — players needed the ability to try and feel demo paddles before committing to a purchase.

That experience led to the creation of Perth Pickle.

Our goal is simple: help players find the right paddle for their game. We offer demo paddles across our range, so you can test them properly and make a confident choice. We’re always happy to chat about your background — whether you’re coming from tennis, badminton, squash, or completely new to racquet sports — and recommend paddles that suit your style.

Perth Pickle is built on good local service and strong local relationships. We want to support the growing pickleball community across Western Australia and make quality gear more accessible to players, clubs, and organisations.
